This is a newly created role in a greenfield environment for an experienced Change Lead on a permanent basis with the responsibility for leading the Group Transformation Office Change Management to ensure effective design, implementation and evaluation of change management activities and strategic approach including deliverables such as: cases for change, change impact assessment, risk assessment, stakeholder analysis, stakeholder and communications plans, training plans and transition plans.


The role will provide strategic recommendations to senior leaders and coordinate internal expertise in the design and delivery of bespoke change initiatives by influencing leaders to ensure appropriate change management activities are undertaken to maximise change adoption.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Design and implement the Group Transformation Change management strategy and design a portfoliolevel view of change aligned to the Group Transformation strategy
  • Lead the effective design, implementation and evaluation of change management activities and strategic approach including deliverables such as: cases for change, change impact assessment, risk assessment, stakeholder analysis, stakeholder and communications plans, training plans and transition plans
  • Facilitate information and knowledge sharing in relation to the implementation of the Change Management strategy, monitor the overall effectiveness of the implementation working closely with the Group Program Director Transformation
  • Provide advice to Executive management and project delivery leads regarding the implementation of the Change Management strategy and relevant impact on the delivery of the remediation outcomes.
  • Escalation of key issues relating to remediation response to the Group Program Director Transformation, Chief Transformation Officer, Group CEO, the Group and Property Transformation Steering Committees and the Boards as appropriate
  • Working closely with the relevant functional and workstream leads to monitor, guide and influence the various programs of work and ensure that the required change becomes sustainable and impactful as designed under the Transformation Strategy
  • Foster relationships with key personnel and ensure there are open lines of communication

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to distill information with clear communication strategies, exceptional verbal and written capability
  • Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with strong interpersonal and personal relationship building skills
  • Ability to traverse and influence across all levels of the organisation, having credibility with external stakeholders and independent parties
  • Excellent judgement and decisionmaking skills, knowing when to escalate issues and when to take ownership to address
  • Proven leadership and execution in a matrix structure

Technical Competencies

  • Demonstrated ability to lead significant Change Program Management and regulatory change agenda
  • Deep appreciation of sensitive political contexts having navigated regulatory environments, government stakeholders and Board level expectations
  • Experience with managing in complex and nuanced regulatory environments
  • Proven experience in managing governance, risk management and compliance context
  • Able to shape insights from data to Board level able to move from detail to strategic context seamlessly
  • Strong results orientation and organisation management
  • Business knowledge and business acumen ideally a strong understanding of the broader business, its structure and key activities
