    Description
    • 2/1 or 3/1 roster, 12hr day shifts
    • Working on LVs and Cat & Komatsu earthmoving equipment
    • Pay rate from $65/hr flat rate

    NW Mining & Civil are seeking an experienced and trade qualified Diesel Fitter to join our client's team at a remote mine site north of Mt Isa.

    The duties of this role will include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Servicing, repairs & maintenance to a range of heavy earth moving equipment, including CAT & Komatsu excavators, loaders, graders, dozers and moxies
    • Servicing, repairs & maintenance to light vehicles
    • Workshop & field service/mine site breakdown work
    • General housekeeping, basic data entry on the computer and paperwork as required

    The right person will possess the following:

    • Relevant diesel fitting trade qualification
    • Proven experience in a similar role
    • Manual car licence is essential, truck licence would be an advantage
    • Great communication & teamwork skills
    • Able to work autonomously and show initiative
    • Be able to pass medical and D&A screening

    Roster is 2/1 (or 3/1 if preferred), shifts are 12hrs. Pay rate is from $65/hr flat rate.

    Local Cloncurry or Mt Isa applicants are preferred, however flights from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns plus meals & accommodation will be provided while at camp.
