- CCNP certification or equivalent experience with Cisco routers, switches, voice, and wireless technologies.
- Proven track record managing Cisco UC platforms (CUCM), SBC's, SIP services, and understanding wireless and firewall technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- The ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and deliver solutions in a 24 x 7 support environment.
- An understanding of the healthcare sector
- Experience with Faxing Services (e.g. RightFax)
- Experience with ARC, Vocera, iCare and other integrated messaging platforms
- Experience with MS Teams Calling, Cisco Webex, Jabber or similar
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Management platforms (Panorama)
- Experience supporting and maintaining Network Monitoring Systems (e.g. ManageEngine)
- Experience /Exposure to cloud connectivity technologies (e.g. MS Express Route, Direct Connect)
- Experience/Exposure to Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) deployments

Our client is on the lookout for a talented Network Engineer with a special focus on Cisco Unified Communication systems (CUCM) to join their dynamic Information Communication and Technology department for a 3-month contract with potential for extension. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from Flemington, for at least two days a week, supporting a world where all kids thrive.
Role Purpose:
As a key member of the team, you'll be at the forefront of managing, maintaining, and supporting their Cisco Unified Communication systems alongside a suite of UC platform tools. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of initiatives and projects, ensuring the seamless operation of the hospital's network and communication infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhance customer service experience by providing Level 2 support and technical expertise.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, offering guidance and fostering strong internal and external relationships.
Ensure the operational excellence of our Network and Telecommunications infrastructure, implementing strategic technical changes and managing live production issues with agility.
Lead in the continuous improvement and cyber security initiatives to protect our network and assets.
