- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations at customer sites.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver process improvement offerings and optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with customer teams to develop and implement customized, solution driven projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Work closely with both the sales team and the service team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Engineering, Metallurgy (or a related field) Or equivalent Industrial experience
- Ability and willingness to learn and understand processes on a mining/minerals processing site
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- An interest in providing technical solutions to customers while also being hands during implementation and delivery

We currently have an opportunity for an Operations Engineer to join our Nalco Water team specifically looking after our mining/heavy clients around the Gladstone area. The Operations Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and ongoing management of process applications and water treatment solutions at our mining customer sites. In this role you will take a lead role in Ecolab's operations on our customer's sites. You will spend time in the field getting to know the customer and how we can enhance their objectives. You will be supported by Field Service Technicians to deliver on projects and our ongoing contractual obligations.
