Patient Services Assistant

PS25 $28.44 per hour

Two roles available

Permanent Full Time - 80 hours per fortnight (with monthly ADO)

Permanent Part Time - 32 hours per fortnight

About the role
The employees would be part of a large department.

The two positions would be part of a night shift team working within the Environmental Services Department at the Ballarat base hospital site.

Two night shift positions. One full time and one part time 32 hours per fortnight
Patient Portering, cleaning and transfers to the Mortuary
Patient Services assistant role

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning
Transferring patients around the hospital site including to St. Johns including transfers to the Mortuary
Patient discharge cleaning

Skills and experience

Previous patient portering and cleaning experience would be desirable.

Selection Criteria

Desirable : Orderly, Patient transfers including to mortuary and cleaning, high importance, Victorian cleaning standards (3.5 hours) for a new hospital area, the E.D extension CDU.
