We have an opportunity for an experienced Learning and Development Facilitator to join a close team of facilitators who are focused on awesome people outcomes.

You will be responsible for our Corporate Induction training and traineeship support for our people with the view to expand into other areas of specialised training as you progress.


As the face of the company, we are looking for someone who is professional, can engage large groups, lives and breathes the Youi values, has strong presentation skills, past facilitation experience to enable you to hit the ground running and someone who isn't afraid to bring their personality to the role.


Key responsibilities

  • Facilitating learning and assessment by preparing and/or using effective adult learning methodologies for desired outcome
  • Design and enhance learning resources and programs to meet growing training needs throughout the business
  • Consult with and supporting learners by identifying learning requirements, and where required designing individualised strategies and/or coaching to improve performance
  • Monitor and report on activities, results, outcomes etc. and perform other related administrative functions as required
  • Participating in regular evaluation of courses to ensure that they are consistent with operational objectives and to facilitate ongoing improvement
  • Maintain a knowledge of industry trends and innovation in instructional design and learning methodology
  • Administrative tasks will form part of this role

About You

  • A genuine passion and interest in training and developing people
  • Cert IV Training & Assessment
  • Strong facilitation, presentation and assessing experience in group facilitation
  • Experience with development of eLearning looked at favourably
  • Good understanding of principles of adult education and learning methodologies
  • Good understanding of learning management systems
  • High level written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational & time management skills
  • Creativity and flexibility in designing, planning, and facilitating learning and assessment strategies
  • Flexible and able to embrace change in a fastpaced environment
  • The ability to align personal values with those of the company, and inspire others to do the same
  • Tech savvy, excited by innovation and the opportunity to use technology to foster a learning culture
  • Adaptable to different personality types and learning styles

Desirable:


  • RG146 Tier 2 Qualification
  • Experience in Financial Services
  • Experience facilitating leadership programs
  • Understanding of AQTF and VET training and assessment
