- Partner closely with the Head of People & Culture and leaders across various States and Broadcast Division to understand the business drivers and develop tailored people strategies
- Partner with business leaders to identify value drivers, priorities and imperatives to improve productivity/business results in the execution of solutions/initiatives.
- Build and execute on succession/risk management plans in key roles
- Lead organisational development activities to develop and enhance current organisational capabilities
- Provide expert advice and support our leaders through various change and transition programs
- Play a lead role in managing a relationship with the union where required,
- Provide IR advice and EBA / Award interpretation to leaders as needed. Provide day-to-day coaching and guidance in various issues that may arise such as difficult communication, performance improvement, relationship management, navigating problems to achieve the right result for all parties.
- Assist in resolving issues that may relate to HR operational matters in a timely manner.
- Be a confidant and trusted advisor for employees and leaders on all levels.
- Manage various projects that may arise from time to time.
- Work with the broader People and Culture team to embed organisation wide programs
- Gather and analyse data to make informative decisions and provide the right information to stakeholders.
- Continually look for ways to improve and add long term value.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating with and influencing Executives and Senior Managers to deliver proactive and commercially focused HR solutions that are aligned business needs and people strategy.
- Strong understanding of the strategic role of HR in the business and demonstrated capacity to align actions with the bigger picture.
- Experience in working with unions and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements / Awards.
- Knowledge of best practice principles for people practices including employee relations, recruitment, reward, performance management, talent development and engagement.
- Demonstrated experience in leading change initiatives and managing projects.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management particularly in remuneration and businesses undergoing change.
- Experience in building and maintaining strong relationship management.
- Demonstrated experience in design and implementation of organisational structure.
- Experience in accessing and applying HR data, analytics and associated reports.

Job Description
As the People & Culture Business Partner for Nine's Broadcast division, you'll support a team of 800+ passionate employees. You'll work closely with the Head of People & Culture - Broadcast to provide strategic, industrial, and operational support, leveraging the broader People & Culture group functions. Your role is critical in driving performance and growth, fostering diversity of opinion in a modern work environment for an established media business.
