About the Role:


We are currently looking to recruit an
Assistant Logistics Manager to provide all stakeholders attending ICC Sydney with access to Car Parks and Loading Dock facilities in a safe and efficient manner which does not create disruption to their experience or event.

This role will manage and coordinate the efficient daily operations of the Car Parks, Loading Docks, traffic and pedestrian interface along with strategic planning for future operations.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • As the first level of response to all traffic and loading dock related incidents that occur on site, you will form part of the coordination and control of the emergency traffic and response team
  • Ensure the building is setup in the appropriate mode of operations for the given day; may include patrol car parks, monitor egresses
  • Manage and coordinate the loading dock management system
  • Coordinate and supervise Car Park and Logistics staff, ensuring management of the operations of the car park and event day transport
  • Mentor and coach team members to assist in their development and understanding the role
  • Monitor venue traffic control, logistics and carpark contractor performance

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Valid WorkCover approved OH&S Induction Certificate (White Card)
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Working knowledge of Loading Dock Management, Operations, Car Park operations
  • Management/Supervisory experience


Additionally, you will have great customer service and communication skills, be resilient with a positive attitude to support and lead the Car Park and Logistics team.


To be eligible for employment, you must be an Australian Citizen or a permanent resident of Australia, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to work unrestricted in Australia.
