HR Systems Manager (Manager HR Platforms & Governance)- Annual Salary Range $127,467 $170,579 per annum plus super

People and Business Services is a Group in the Department of Transport and Planning is responsible for providing business enabling people and corporate services functions, that drive a high-performance culture and to support integrated operations.
About the RoleThe HR Systems Manager provides management and governance of DoT's HR systems including our new SAP SuccessFactors HR and Payroll System - VicGov People.
This position will lead and coach a team who works closely with vendors and Digital Victoria to provide HR system support including incident management, release management and is responsible for change and testing activities for the Transport and Planning portfolio.
We are looking for someone who has an operational mindset and has worked in HR previously in an operational role.
This position will be responsible for managing the relationship with the Transport Portfolio Partners (TPP's), ensuring all service deliverables outlined through MOU and service catalogue are effectively provided.
Position outcomes- Build and maintain strong effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and develop a sound understanding of key stakeholder needs, resulting in high levels of trust, effective outcomes, and stakeholder satisfaction. Lead change management activities and effectively drive the adoption of new change initiatives across the portfolio
- Deliver innovative and best practice processes and system initiatives
- Provide effective leadership, people management and support to the team
- Promote and support safe, inclusive, and flexible team operations
- Relevant operating knowledge of HR systems (preferably SAP cloud) with a focus on system compliance, data management, process improvement, automation, release management, configuration maintenance and testing. Adaptive critical thinking capable of embracing innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience providing technical or operational HR system support such as incident management and system release management
- A passionate approach to being a supportive leader and able to offer true value in a flexible, collaborative, and adaptable way.
Desirable qualifications and experience
- Prior experience working with SuccessFactors or other HR technology/platforms
