The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant/Administrative superstar who is highly organised, focused and proactive.


This role will see you supporting to a very busy SES Band 1 in a fast paced, friendly and supportive environment.

Multiple positions available in a busy division and taskforce.


On a day-to-day basis your duties may consist of:

  • Management of Executive appointments and priorities ensuring co-ordination of daily activities, arranging meetings and briefing materials, workflow, travel and calls.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, reports and documents in a concise manner with high attention to detail.
  • Support the Executives travel, including arranging domestic travel and accommodation including all supporting information.
  • Work with other members of the Executive Office to ensure the ongoing efficient operation of the Division.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key contacts and relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of correspondence.
  • Undertaking filing and records management functions ensuring records are accurate, complete and are managed in accordance with departmental policy.

Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will be an experienced Executive Assistant/Administration officer who has:

  • Proven experience in an Executive Assistant role, or transferable administration and coordination skills from a government or commercial environment
  • Ability to use and develop responsive and effective systems that facilitate the achievement of goals and objectives for your Executives, the Branch and wider Department
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise at all levels of the organisation
  • Experience managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines
You must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for opportunities in the federal government. A minimum of baseline security clearance is required for this opportunity (NV1 will be highly regarded).
