We are seeking a motivated leader to join our team, working with a key customer at their remote mine.This role's roster will align to that of our customers and adjusted to support the accountable Team.
Our Mine Star Site Manager plays a key role in ensuring the Command for Hauling system is working at its optimum performance, using your Team of specialists' knowledge and experience.
The role will lead a team of Mine Star Application and Onboard Specialists with the support of Product Support teams to ensure robust technology solutions for our customers.
The role will be accountable for supporting all technology deployments and operations on their customer mine site.The incumbent will be the customer's primary point of contact and escalation to ensure the effectiveness of Caterpillar Technology Products.
This role would suit someone with strong operational mining or fleet management experience who has demonstrated exceptional results in leading and managing effective Teams.
You will focus your Team towards ensuring the Command for hauling system application is configured, maintained, and operated to Caterpillar specifications and best practice for optimized performance.
Coaching and mentoring of staff and customer personnel on interaction and operation of the Command for Hauling system application are also key aspects of the role.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Initial primary contact at an assigned Mine Site for all Mine Star initiated productivity and safety activities.
Ensuring the safe operation of AHS on their assigned mine site.Work collaboratively with Mine Star Product Support to define Interim Corrective Actions that mitigate the impact of AHS product performance issues.
Build and lead a team of site-based employees across application and operation roles.Be the first point of contact relating to employee personnel issues, performance evaluations, career development planning, required compliance learning, and training of subordinates to ensure staff expertise.
Maintain key site-specific performance metrics, including AHS technology availability, production metrics, operating cost per tonne, AHS fleet productivity, and safety.
Ensure compliance with all Caterpillar and Mine Star policies and procedures. Coordinate and support customers' Mine Star improvement projects.Desired skills, attributes, and basic requirements: Ready for a new challenge Passionate about technology with technical hands-on exposure Excellent interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment Customer relationship management Exceptional time management Ability to work autonomously to lead a complex team Must be a self-starter with sound organisation and prioritising skills Manual Driver's license or willing to obtain one Ability to meet the ongoing COVID vaccination mandate requirements of our major mining customers and regional governments in Australia and Internationally Top candidates will also have: Relevant experience in the Construction, Automation, Mining Industry or Machine Technology.
Project Management Experience University degree in Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, Mining or related field.Knowledge of mining technology products and product applications, including Fleet Management systems.
