As their Australian team continues to expand, they are seeking professional, competitive, self-motivated sales professionals. This is a great role for someone wanting to get into Account Management.


Working from their Hamilton, Queensland office, this role will involve selling ad space and hosted services to farm equipment, construction equipment and truck/trailer dealers through Australia and New Zealand.

There will be a combination of phone sales, and travel about one week per month.

You will need to be comfortable with cold calling until the role evolves out into more of an account management type role that you're selling additional products to people you already have as customers.

Adecco is proud to exclusively partner with an American HQ company. Founded back in 1978, they have a remarkable reputation in trade.

They are a highly successful print, digital and SaaS company that has decades-long presence in the construction, agriculture, commercial trucking, and aviation industries.

A further arm of the company was established in Brisbane, Australia in 2012.

The company continues to expand its existing facilities through the ongoing international growth of new and existing products and services that meet the needs of buyers and sellers in its core industries.

As they continue to build out their Australian presence, in 2017, another arm was acquired, providing another service offering. This was one of Australia's leading resources for buying and selling new and used commercial trucks.

From there, the opened an additional office location in Christchurch, New Zealand, along the east coast of the country's south island.


Description
With demonstrated previous sales experience, the responsibilities of the role include:

  • Prospect potential customers in the trucking, construction, and agricultural equipment industries and selling advertising space across the company's hosted cloud-based services.
  • Build a long term relationship with the customers after the initial sale to continue to drive results for the customer.
  • Be a confident communicator and strive to educate the customer on all of the tools available to you through the company's portfolio.
  • Willingness to visit clients on a regular basis (approximately one week per month which could vary based on the company needs)
  • Complete all appropriate admin required for this role.

Profile

  • Demonstrated sales experience and ability to manage a customer base (telemarketing/retail experience would also be applicable)
  • A hunter sales mentality
  • A proven track record of working towards targets and goals and ability to exceed them
  • Ability to converse with a broad range of customers and present confidently
  • Impeccable time management skills and organisational aptitude
  • Industry knowledge across agriculture, construction or transport would be helpful but not a requirement
  • Comfortable starting with cold calling, which will then ultimately lead to Account Management of the ongoing customer relationship
  • A full Australian driver's licence
