- Fulfill technology support requests from foundation staff
- Respond to help desk tickets
- Configure and deploy Macs
- Troubleshoot hardware and facilitate repairs (primarily Apple)
- Manage cloud accounts and software licenses
- Test and deploy software
- Carry out basic networking requests
- Engage in relevant training and educational activities
- Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned or required
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field or equivalent experience
- Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) or willingness to get certified
- 2–3 years of experience with Mac troubleshooting and support
- Experience with macOS MDM solutions such as Jamf
- Experience administering and supporting Google Workspace, Dropbox and Office 365
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other identity management/SSO platforms
- Familiar with the command line interface
- Ability to troubleshoot iOS devices
- Detail-oriented and responsive to requests
- Patient, friendly and willing to find reasonable solutions
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 30–40 lbs
- The full-time annual compensation range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 depending on experience.

About Us
The Simons Foundation is a private foundation established in 1994 in New York City by Jim and Marilyn Simons. With an annual grants and programs budget of $450 million, the foundation's mission is to advance the frontiers of research in mathematics and the basic sciences.
The foundation pursues its mission through its grant-making division, comprising programs in Mathematics & Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Science, Society and Culture, and autism research, and through its internal research division, the Flatiron Institute.

Science, Society and Culture supports and promotes scientific literacy in society generally. Specifically, the program supports the nonprofit Math for America and the independent science news site,Quanta Magazine. This program's Science Sandbox initiative seeks to unlock scientific thinking in all people, so that science becomes a more integral part of culture .
