  • We are currently recruiting a 12 month contract role for one of our energy clients.
The position
of Category Specialist
  • Projects is a highly visible role that will see you joining the Supply Team and be responsible for delivering excellent procurement and commercial outcomes.
Working between flexible locations SOR with hybrid working options this role will support major projects across the business.
Reporting into the Category Manager, this is a busy and varied role that will contribute towards business objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Management of contractor relationships and performance
  • Development of strategic sourcing strategies and contractor management plans
  • Negotiations, risk and contract drafting
To be successful in this position you will bring the following experience and skills:

  • Relevant qualification in law or engineering
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of category management
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strategic sourcing skills in an industrial environment
