    Due to an increase of work across the state, we are currently seeking experienced and motivated Project Engineers to join our team based in the Newcastle which will see you work across a major civil infrastructure project for the Newcastle and Hunter region.

    Requirements

    To be considered for this role you will:

    • Ideally have min 4 years Post Graduate experience
    • Have 'hard dollar' contract experience
    • Have detailed experience in Civil construction, ideally with a focus on utilities, earthworks, roads & drainage
    • Be able assist in engaging and managing subcontractors and suppliers
    • Be familiar with project quality management
    • Ideally have experience in project cost control
    • Be able to develop and follow short term programs
    • Class C Drivers Licence
    • Have strong organisational skills in order to be able to manage your time and plan effectively in a fast paced, diverse and changing environment
    • Have exceptional communication skills will be one of your key strengths, in particular your ability to negotiate and influence others at a variety of levels of business will be key to your success
    • Have the ability to work well as part of a team
    • Have good leadership skills, in order to lead a team forwards to meet key project milestones and deliverables.
    • Have confidence in your decision making ability, particularly the ability to think outside of the square, problem solve and act accordingly.
    • Have the ability to coach and mentor less experienced team members to assist in their development and transfer of your skills and expertise.
