My client is a reputable and progressive engineering consultancy who have a requirement for an experienced Revit Structural Drafter.

You will have the opportunity to work within a committed and passionate team which will enable you to utilise your developed drafting skills and support them through periods of growth on a permanent basis.


The Role
As a Structural Drafter your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:

  • Work closely with the team to draft, model and document projects using Revit systems.
  • Produce structural drawings based on engineering specifications.
  • Collaborate with project team members to integrate ideas.
  • Liase with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
  • Contribute your technical knowledge to drafting techniques and processes.
  • Comply with all relevant building codes, Australian standards and guidelines.

About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

  • Engineering diploma / TAFE Course (or relevant qualification).
  • 2+ years experience working as a Structural Drafter.
  • Experience with REVIT and AutoCAD is highly regarded.
  • Experience working within a consulting firm is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A keen interest in Digital / BIM
  • Australian work rights
