The Role
The Facilities Licensing Officer APS 6 is responsible to assist the Assistant Director Facilities Licensing with the regulation in the areas of facility licensing and safety (including nuclear installations) for the Australian Nuclear Powered Submarine Safety Regulator (the ANPSSR).
The APS 6 will provide advice of the assessment and provision of licenses for facilities as well as the regulatory audit, inspection, compliance and assurance of facility license holders related to nuclear powered submarines that fall under the regulatory framework of the ANPSSR.
The APS 6 will work with the Assistant Director in the management of license enquiries, the preparation of regulatory reports, and engagement with key stakeholder groups.
