Description

You will contribute to the safe and efficient flow of warehouse operations, providing goods storage and handling services. Our client specialises in software and diagnostic products in the veterinary healthcare market. We are looking for someone with hands on experience in a warehouse that is also confident using computers.

Key duties:

Managing incoming and outgoing goods
Process, pick, pack, dispatch, receiving, put away and storage of products
Responsible for cycle counting and inventory accuracy reporting of low and out of stock items
Maintaining dispatch information in an electronic dispatch system, ensuring data accuracy
Liaise with domestic and international freight companies regarding incoming and outgoing shipments
Request tracking information, freight cost and prepare appropriate documentation
General housekeeping in the warehouse
Respond to external enquiries about customer orders, stock take, tracking, freight cost, dimensions etc.
Assist with management and purchasing of packaging materials or other supplies for the warehouse

Essential criteria

2+ years warehousing experience in general stores, dispatch, receiving and administration
Experience and knowledge of cycle count and inventory control preferred
Excellent customer service
Proficient computer skills/ RF Scanners
Fit to perform manual handling (Product range is light weight)
Driver licence and own transport
Full working rights in Australia

Desirable

Industry background in pharmaceuticals, healthcare technology or medical products highly regarded
SAP knowledge
Forklift Licence
