- Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a new Village Manager at our
_Woodberry Village, Winston Hills_.
About Retirement Living in Anglicare:
- Anglicare is a leader in providing aged care services across the Sydney and Illawarra Region, including 22 retirement villages of various sizes and locations.
- Our aim is to serve older people and enrich their lives; through secure, affordable accommodation and a supportive community living environment.
About the Role:
- Reporting to the Regional Manager
- Retirement Living, you will be accountable for delivering a customercentric, commercially viable and consistent service offering within our Anglicare Villages.
- Embracing innovation, providing capable and caring leadership and working collaboratively across Anglicare's service areas, will ensure you deliver a compelling Christ centred customer experience, as you partner with residents.
- Our Village Managers are responsible for the daytoday operations of the site; from managing staff, addressing resident issues, overseeing full maintenance and improvement of the property & grounds, as well as being accountable for the Village budget and partnering with the Sales team to ensure occupancy targets are met.
- Be part of something rewarding in the Aged Care Division of Anglicare and make a difference in the lives of our Seniors.
About you:
- You will need to be able to familiarise yourself with legislation and adopt the best practice standards for retirement villages.
- Show dedication to building a community and inclusive culture
- Demonstrate excellence in customer service
- Display strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be commercially sensitive, with acumen in financial management experience
- Highly organised, reliable and an effective in meeting the Village needs
- Have a genuine alignment to Anglicare's vision, mission and values
