The Opportunity


We have an opportunity for a Ministerial, Cabinet and Policy Support Officer to be part of our Ministerial and Cabinet Coordination Division within the Office of the Chief Executive, Department of Primary Industries and Regions.


The Ministerial and Cabinet Support Officer is responsible for contributing to policy advice, providing highly confidential administrative and support services for the Office of the Chief Executive.

This includes the preparation, coordination and review of Parliamentary Briefings and Cabinet summary reports for allocated Ministers office(s) and assisting in research and gathering information to inform policy advice and perspectives.


The role works collaboratively with a broad range of executives, Senior Management and staff within the Ministers Office, Office of the Chief Executive and PIRSA Divisions.

The incumbent provides an essential and highly professional point of contact and interface for Ministerial briefing and correspondence matters between the Directorates and government and industry stakeholders.

The position works independently, under limited direction, implementing and managing critical administrative, financial, records management and operational functions, and coordinating and undertaking a range of projects and research.

Remuneration
ASO4 $74,315 - $77,901 per annum
