You will be joining an established, family-owned business with over 40 years trading history.

The business successfully delivers a range of different projects within civil construction to a variety of clients including local shires, tier one miners and other private clients.

Your responsibilities may include:

Provide support and direction on all HSE related matters.
Assist with incident management, risk mitigation, injuries and return to work management.
Supervise construction activities providing advice to minimise risks and ensure compliance with OHS legislation, established workplace rules and the HSE Management Plan.
Conduct health and safety inductions for new employees.
Be the key implementer of HSEQ strategies and the focal point for any related queries.
Coordinate and contribute to regular prestart safety meetings to drive continuous improvement of HSE processes and procedures.
Collate materials for toolbox talks, HSErelated meetings and prestarts.
Schedule intermittent auditing of ISO accreditations to ensure continuous compliance.
Liaise with Project Manager to discuss ways to implement Work, Health and Safety systems.
Continuously encourage and promote a "safetyfirst" culture in the workplace.

Essential criteria:

2+ years experience in a HSE Advisory position.
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety are advantageous.
Previous experience within the civil construction sector.
Proven Risk Management Services experience.
Strong knowledge of HSE practices and current legislation.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications.
