Job Description:

Exciting opportunity to be part of Trek Sydney, we're looking for casual Sales Associates to join the team.

Can you only work certain hours during the day? That's ok, we're offering flexible working hours for people with busy lives.

What you'll do

This position requires a contagious enthusiasm and the know-how to translate it into sales.

The ultimate goal? Build a community of dedicated clients who know you're the store they can trust for awesome service.

The pace is fast, the customers are curious, and having an all-for-one, customer-centric team mentality is huge.

You'll set the standard for how your store is remembered by your customers, and create an amazing cycling experience for everyone who walks through your doors, whilst offering incredible hospitality and customer service that is second to none.

We value hospitality skills first, whether that's in the retail industry or the hospitality industry. We'd rather hire someone who's eager to learn than someone who thinks they know it all. If you're already a bike expert, that's awesome. If not, we'll train you. The key is that you know how to treat customers, evaluate their needs, and exceed their expectations.

Desirable general retail or hospitality experience
A positive, pitchrightin attitude and motivation to help every customer find what they need
Excellent problemsolving skills
Fantastic hospitality—a warm, approachable manner, great listening skills, and a drive to help in any way you can—even on the toughest, busiest days
Great communication with customers and teammates
A desire to cultivate customer relationships and create your own client base
A commitment to deliver the best possible cycling experience for each customer
Ability to work to a schedule
The ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
