About the Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Team Manager - Production to join us at our West Footscray manufacturing site.

The primary focus of this role is to build a high performing team and consistently deliver the daily manufacturing plan.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work with a team of up to 11 overseeing the delivery of the daily production plan working day shift 8-4pm.

Responsibilities include:

Lead and motivate the operations teams
Actively demonstrate "Never Walk By" and "Eliminate Waste' philosophies through your behaviours
Prepare production plans to deliver supply performance, whilst minimising waste
Manage direct labour plans to budget
Drive improvements in line efficiencies and productivity
Develop your team capability (training, coaching and mentoring)
Champion and execute continuous improvements on the line
Display a commitment to safety and quality compliance in all that you do

To be successful in this role you will need:

Up to 5 yrs proven manufacturing experience but will look at recent engineering Graduate looking to build career in production management
Related industry experience would be beneficial
Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
