ABOUT THE ROLE:


Summary of the role:
You are part of the Work Health and Safety Team to proactively manage safety compliance programs. As part of the team you support safety activities and design and implement safety initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders delivering a high standard of service.

  • This is a full or part time permanent position
  • The work location is flexible based at Werribee Mercy Hospital and working across the five Mercy Mental Health sites located in the western suburbs of Melbourne
- the role is focussed on managing and improving health and safety systems and processes including incident investigations, risk assessments and promoting safe work processes

  • The role is key in providing expertise in helping our staff be safe at work
  • The role will also assist in the implementation of staff education programs such as Speaking Up For Safety

ABOUT YOU:

- _ You are an enthusiastic safety professional with a high standard of verbal and written communication skills_
- _ You are very organised and able to manage multiple high priority projects and activities_
- _ you have experience developing and implementing safety initiatives_
- _ you are keen to work closely with our Safety Team, Health Services managers and our staff_
