The Opportunity

Based in the Sydney office, the purpose of the Water Team Design Manager position is to lead both the winning and delivery of Infrastructure Services across the NSW water sector.

Working under broad direction, this position is an integral part of the national Water business unit's project and client leadership team.

As a senior member of the national team, part of the role includes the requirement to help identify and capture business opportunities including bid preparation and customer liaison and negotiation, while also leading selected projects and the personnel and subconsultants delivering those projects.

The Key functions include the pastoral care for the team, acting as a technical discipline specialist, development or review of water infrastructure plans and planning, mentoring and performing direct work in significant projects, and overseeing project execution.

The Design Manager negotiates critical and controversial issues with other mid-level managers and engineers, mostly within but on occasion outside KBR.

Who are you?
To be considered for this position you will need to display the following Qualifications and Experience.

Minimum 10+ years' experience in infrastructure/construction sector ideally in delivering Water infrastructure projects.
Substantial experience and/or exposure to both Design and Project Management.
Possesses knowledge of the NSW Water market.
