Working with government agencies, event organisers and stakeholders to bring events and activations to life.


About the role


In this role you will act as the key point of contact to ensure the success of events, activations, and projects within the Placemaking precincts in Sydney NSW.

You will coordinate all elements, including design, programming, production, stake holder notification and compliance. You will drive design and project teams, along with providing your expertise on planning. You will monitor and manage event budgets, event resources and staff.

You will have strong communication skills, stake holder management and the ability to plan and prioritise and respond flexibly to changing priorities.

The role works alongside programming, marketing, production, facilities and operations to deliver experiences across our Precincts.


This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Event Manager to join the team that lead the planning, implementation and delivery of events, activations and projects across Sydney's most iconic and vibrant cultural, leisure, hospitality and retail precincts, Barangaroo, The Rocks, Darling Harbour, Sydney Fish Markets and White Bay Power Station.


The Challenges
Delivering events and activations in a high-profile environment with constant public and stakeholder scrutiny. Coordinating competing elements of events across all business units. Managing multiply priorities across a broad range of projects. Ensuring government policy on procurement for infrastructure, staffing and services is followed.
