ASSISTANT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (Diversified Portfolio) Sydney - $120k -$140k Package + Bonus

Company Background:


Our client is an Australia led, PE backed, real estate investment group with a partnership group that holds significant track record and legacy in the commercial, residential, healthcare (life sciences) and industrial market.

The projects portfolio currently comprises of multiple life sciences developments, commercial & industrial, as well as currently exploring acquisition opportunities in the BTR (build to rent) space.

The group is a platform which is currently seeing significant growth and manages top tier global capital.


They are currently seeking a dynamic and ambitious Development Analyst or Assistant Development Manager to help across the whole development lifecycle including transactions responsibility.

Reporting to the Executive Director and Senior Development Manager, you will have full exposure to:


Responsibilities:


  • Produce detailed financial analysis of development opportunities, effective rents and general acquisitions;
  • Broad research and benchmarking of transactions across designated regions of interest;
  • Assisting in the drafting of investment papers and pitch documentation, as well as assist with submissions and marketing as required;
  • Assist with running of design competitions;
  • Working within the planning controls sphere in relation to DA submissions;

Requirements:


  • Tertiary qualifications / education in finance, commerce / business, property economics, property development & investment or other relevant discipline;
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in the property industry with a focus on development;
  • Ideally holding an understanding of experience in projects and financials for property development and construction industries (but not essential);
  • Proven understanding of and experience in MS Excel OR Estate Master (Feasibility modelling), forecasting and general commercial property administration, exposure to managing commercial property cashflows.
