Description

The Public Trustee has undertaken a body of work to assess and understand workload management issues, risks and opportunities at several pilot sites across the organisation.

As the Project Officer, you will work within a dedicated project team to implement organisational and site-specific initiatives to create and maintain work environments and practices that support a flexible, agile and well workforce.


Your key responsibilities include:


  • Undertake specific projects and or activities related to workload management and workforce planning, using recommended project control solutions to plan and initiate activities of projects in line with project objectives and timelines.
  • Liaise with internal and external project stakeholders in relation to operational issues and to ensure that project deliverables are met.
  • Collect, consolidate and analyse project data to support effective decision making.
  • Coordinate and provide support to project governance groups, working groups, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Create and maintain project management artefacts including risk, issues and change control registers.
  • Write proposals, expressions of interest and contracts. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, planning documentation and other written correspondence utilising a range of computer software packages.
  • Monitor budget and provide regular financial reports as required for compliance and audit to all agreed requirements.
  • Maintain project schedules in consultation with team members.
  • Contributing to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical.

Highly Desirable requirements

  • At least two to three years of relevant project coordination experience in enterprise wide projects.
  • Experience in working within a public sector environment will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in working within a People and Culture function will be highly regarded.
