Our client a Global Oil and Gas Operator in Perth CBD are currently seeking an Operations Scheduler for a 12 month contract with possibility of extension.
The Operations Scheduler is responsible for scheduling the preventive maintenance and corrective work to business priority (for the assigned facility and time horizon).
The Operations Scheduler is responsible for supporting an accurate integrated 14day, 1 month and 120 day detailed resourced schedule which includes all functions carrying out activities on the facility.
Schedules to be prepared within constraints and POB limitations.
Operations scheduler is responsible to ensure activities are reprioritized due to unplanned events, to raise deviations if required and to adjust associated POB accordingly.
The Operations Scheduler will liaise with all functions to assure the work is fully optimized, removing CONOPS issues, providing a safe and integrated execution plan in Primavera.
The Operations Scheduler is responsible for preparing a multilevel integrated plan that can be used for both high level and detailed level review.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Planning

Schedule short term (14, 28 and 120 day) and Capacity Plan the Operations Schedule ensuring most efficient plant uptime and resource availability through the use of SAP Scheduling and Primavera.
Liaise with peers within Operations, Shutdown, Campaign Maintenance groups, project, HSE, subsea to ensuring transparency for planning and alignment.
Prioritise scheduling of activity execution to reduce HSE and Production risks.
Monitor and report on schedule compliance and improvement opportunities.

Risk Management

Promote continual improvement by utilizing Business processes associated with changes to SAP Master Data and planning resource tools such as Task Lists and procedures.

Quality

Actively participate in impact assessments through Plan MoC.
Ensure SAP PM data quality through planning stage to scheduling is kept at the highest level of accuracy.
Ensure current plan compliance status is validated and available for facility reporting.
Responsible for publishing of all reports associated with the planning window, including the P6 plan, resource histograms, material reports.

Technical Expertise

Highly experienced in using SAP PM.
Experienced in using Primavera and other scheduling tools.
Experience in using Business Processes.
Demonstrate understanding of maintenance management system and planning tools.
Provide SAP technical assistance to other stakeholders.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

Technical trade or engineering Diploma in Mechanical/Instrument/Electrical
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Reporting Applications (e.g. Business Objects / SAP Business Intelligence)
Primavera, MS Project, SAP PM / MM
5+ Yrs experience in the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry with at least 2 yrs at Planner / Scheduler.
Highly skilled in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
Strong interpersonal skills in fostering teamwork and collaboration.
