About the role


The People, Culture and Capability Business Partnering team provides strategic HR support exclusively to the Senior Executives of the Department of Education.

Within the Business Partnering team, the Enabling Services team ensures connection and collaboration with centres of excellence to enable seamless delivery of people and culture initiatives.


As a key member of the Enabling Services team, you will work with the Senior People, Culture and Capability Business Partners to develop and deliver a range of strategic people initiatives and change programs that will enhance the employee experience and drive the people agenda.


Essential requirements of the role

  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with executives across a range of human resources functions in a large, complex organisation

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing project and change activities within a large complex organisation.
