KNOW THE ROLE


Blue Illusion has an opportunity for an Assistant Store Manager at the Sunshine Plaza Boutique to work 22.5 hours per week.

The Assistant Store Manager will assist in the day-to-day operations of the boutique and ensure they are operating in accordance with the Blue Illusion standards.


The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in leading the sales team, actioning marketing directives, stock markdowns and merchandising and stock takes.


There will also be a need for this role to work additional hours during peak trade, such as Black Friday and Christmas periods.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure store achieves budgets through leading and motivating the sales team
  • Inspire sales team members to embrace the

  • Lead the operation when the Store Manager is not in the business
  • Stock Management: Online fulfilment, stock takes, processing deliveries and stock loss prevention
  • Provide first class customer service
  • Support the Store Manager during the recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new employees

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience in fashion retail is advantageous but not essential
  • Supervisor or Assistant Manager experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Administration skills and ability to multitask
  • Visual Merchandising is advantagoure
