About the role
We are looking for a
Superintendent Program Readiness to join our Resource Development Planning team. This new and exciting role provides an opportunity to plan and enable resource development activities in the medium
- and long-term time horizons. We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong technical understanding of project management principles. You are a proven and proactive leader and will support a passionate and high performing team. Your skill set will enable program readiness on an expanding annual portfolio.

Reporting to the Manager Planning, working Monday to Friday with occasional travel to our operations in the Pilbara, you will:

  • Co-ordinate key Resource Development Planning milestones across the 5 to 1 year time horizon
  • Ensure drill scopes have strategic multiyear ground disturbance access approvals
  • Create a rolling 5 to 1 year plan for Resource Development activities including a resourced, sequenced and costed 1year schedule
  • Identify long lead capital requirements and create a strategy to secure Operational Readiness
  • Manage long term risks to plan and minimise variability in plans as they transition between successive planning horizons
  • Identify resourcing capacity constraints and create an operational strategy to execute to scope requirements
  • Communicate with internal technical team as required

About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in planning
  • A previous track record of success in project management
  • A proactive approach with a strong commitment in driving a safe working culture
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, presentation and negotiation skills, with demonstrated ability in influencing others
  • The ability to define and implement project improvement initiatives to maximise efficiency and solutions
  • A background in Geology and/or Dewatering will be advantageous but is not essential

Where you'll be working
The Planning team actively encourages and supports flexible work. This includes workdays, hours and location, in addition to flexible and part-time work schedules. Occasional site travel will be required.
