Curtin's School of Nursing is the longest established school of nursing in the Australian university sector.

The school delivers a range of undergraduate courses in nursing, oral health therapy and paramedicine; and specialist postgraduate courses in areas ranging from diabetes and critical care to child health and midwifery.


About Your Role:


Based at the Oral Health Centre of WA (OHCWA) at Nedlands you will provide dental assisting support for the Program's teaching and learning and community service programs.

This will include preparing the clinic for the Program's clinical and pre-clinical teaching sessions, maintaining clinic inventories, performing, demonstrating and monitoring dental assisting and related infection control and procedures performed by students assisting with dental radiography procedures.


In this role you will require:

  • A Dental Assisting Certificate level 3 or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide quality customer service to clients and to work effectively within a team environment.
You will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.
