UGL Utilities are looking for

Instrumentation and Control Technicians - Cert 4 Instrumentation to join the Hunter power Project team.


The Hunter Power Project is the construction of a 660MW Power Station comprising of two heavy-duty open cycle gas turbines.

Located in the in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, 35 km west of Newcastle.


About You:


  • Install instrumentation and control equipment as per scope of works
  • Calibration of instruments
  • Utilise instrumentation drawings, specifications, standards and equipment manuals
  • Pre commissioning and commissioning of instrument loops
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in digital control systems

Key Requirements:


  • Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Construction (White Card)
  • Instrumentation Certification
  • High Risk Work License
  • WP preferred
  • Work at Heights Certification preferred valid within 2 years
  • Construction background experience (35 years')
