Cost Controller - Kwinana, Australia - UGL Limited

UGL are looking for a Cost Controller / Site Admin to join one of our projects located in Kwinana. This is an all-rounded role in which you will provide administration and financial support. This is a permanent Full-time position.About the role
- Cost Control
- Provide cost and administration support the project execution team.
- Prepare weekly/monthly project cost reports as directed.
- Process weekly variation and change records in accordance with the approved change management process.
- Develop monthly cost impact claims for client approval.
- Review weekly timesheets against gate data to ensure accuracy in claims.
- Raise online Material Requisitions (MR's) as requested, in line with UGL procurement policy.
- Ensure all goods receipting is completed in line with company policy and procedures.
- Month end hours accruals, cost accruals, journals and forecasting
- Admin
- Provide administration support to the project execution team.
- Maintain an uptodate site roster to ensure workforce visibility.
- Issue D&A notifications, in line with procedures and confidentiality guidelines
- Manage employee training records to ensure all personnel qualifications remain up to date.
- Work closely with recruitment and P&C to support the onboarding of new employees.
- Upload new employee qualifications, training, and VOC records into UGL's database.
- Arrange site inductions for all new starters.
- Schedule employee training as required.
- Actively participate and promote continuous improvement within administration functions.
About you
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years' experience in equivalent Administrative, Cost, HR or Payroll roles
- Skilled practitioner in SAP
- Advanced skills in MS Office suite, including Excel and MS Word
- Working awareness of Procurement and Finance activities including requisition, purchase order creation, cost reporting, goods receipting and general financial awareness
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised or requiring mínimal supervision.
