    About the role

    We're seeking a Domain Technical Lead to provide operational and technical leadership, to Applications Support Teams related to Customer and Billing platforms in Victoria.

    You'll join an innovative team who work collaboratively in a supportive team environment.

    As our Domain Technical Lead – Customer and Billing Platforms, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It's meaningful, challenging and exciting work.

    Day-to-day, you will:

    • Act as Major incident manager to co-ordinate activities across internal and external support partners to perform service restoration as required.
    • Accountability for development of technical remediation plans and implementation of required actions to prevent reoccurrence of Technology incidents across internal and external support teams
    • Ability to construct and implement a service improvement plan to meet requirements or deficiencies identified as a result of incidents.
    • Resolve incidents to meet SLA objectives.
    • Maintain, monitor and update batch workflows
    • Manage calendars and scheduling of workflows
    • Lead technical remediation of incidents with external vendors and internal development teams
    • Ability to run, chair and co-ordinate regular stakeholder meetings
    • Ability to lead Service request management prioritisation forums with Business and Technology stakeholders
    • Execute changes to application operations.
    • Leadership and co-ordination of small to medium Technical changes to applications within the portfolio.
    • Perform 24x7 on-call duties on a rostered basis.

    This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

    • Ability to define processes and document procedures (essential)
    • Ability to lead small teams of internal and external staff to deliver technical solutions
    • Ability to communicate to senior business and Technology stakeholders
    • Ability to chair and run stakeholder meetings
    • Self-motivated with good organisational skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills (written & oral) with the ability to deal effectively with personnel at all levels
    • ITIL certification and deep understanding of IT service management process
    • Proven experience in applications support of mission critical system

    ​Technical support experience with one or more of the following with proficiency in the use of related diagnostic tools:

    • Salesforce
    • GoTransverse Billing platform
    • Mulesoft API Management platform
    • AWS Custom Lambda Apps
