ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As part of the larger CCEP Australia family, Grinders Coffee has become one of Australia's premier coffee companies.

From humble beginnings in Melbourne, it has grown to be one of the largest coffee houses in Australia and one of the fastest growing Strategic Business Units within CCEP.

Grinders now encompasses a number of well-known brands including Grinders Coffee, Giancarlo Coffee and Temple Tea & Taboo.


Over the last few years, the business has grown exponentially in volume and has partnered with some iconic businesses that have driven profitable outcomes and increased brand recognition.


Our national customer reach spans across Independent Route customers, through to National and Key Account partners within the QSR, Entertainment, Catering, Petroleum and Convenience segments.


Leadership of this channel includes both ownership of the channel strategy and executional plans, whilst working collaboratively with your direct team and key internal and external stakeholders to operationalise the strategy and to deliver customer excellence.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Development of your channel Long Range Plan.
  • Annualised development of your channel strategy and go to market plan.
  • Ownership of channel performance KPI's annualised through to monthly.
  • Inclusive leadership to build and deliver executional initiatives in line with the channel strategy.
  • Channel leadership against demand forecasting and supporting S&OP rhythms.
  • Budget development ownership, supported with a channel commercialized plan.
  • Channel leadership and participation within business performance and strategy session.
  • P&L management working in conjunction with the senior commercial manager.
  • Promotional and pricing management, driving joint growth outcomes.
  • Lead and shape the culture of today and tomorrow working collaboratively with the Grinders Senior leadership team and direct team.
  • Cultivate a safe working environment in line with the business values and expectations.
  • Lead, develop and inspire your team to deliver against the strategy and executional plans.
  • Lead and shape change management initiatives as required.
  • Participate in key strategic customer engagement events and routines.
  • Actively support strategic new partnership engagement opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure we are providing a better coffee experience for our customers.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven leadership experience, ideally within a complex, large FMCG organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and influence teams to drive the right outcomes.
  • Ability to build outstanding relationships and have a consultative approach.
  • Demonstration of strategic thinking with the ability to operationalise plans.
  • Outstanding relationship management.
  • Extensive experience driving and delivering executional excellence.
  • Experience in providing analysis and improving the performance across all stakeholder groups.
  • Coffee industry experience will be considered desirable but not essential.
