The details**:


  • Permanent Full Time
- $68,884 pa (includes industry and uniform allowances) + super (up to 12%) + leave loading
Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream B) - Level 6 of the EBA

  • 9 day fortnight
  • 76 hour fortnight
  • Location: Petrie please note, this position will be moving to a Narangba location in the coming months.

About our opportunity


This position will have you operating graders and other plant items (as required, trained and licenced to do so) on a daily basis.

You will be working with our Roads and Drains teams (predominantly with our unsealed road crews) as the designated grader operator which will see you providing direction and instruction to other plant operators and truck drivers as required, working as part of a broader team and carrying out daily checks of the plant and reporting any defects where necessary.


About you
Ideally you will have demonstrated recent experience operating a grader in a similar environment.

You will also hold certification in Grader (LG) operations, a truck licence (minimum heavy rigid - HR) and either hold or be willing to obtain a Construction Induction Card prior to commencement.
