About this role:

Our client is an award-winning renowned architecture practice within the multi-residential and private residential sectors.

Their talented and diverse team is based within the city fringe and is seeking an experienced Design Technology Leader to assume the pivotal role as head of BIM Management.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and review all 3D models and modelrelated tasks with consultants and contractors
  • Perform regular audits to review and maintain REVIT models
  • Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs
  • Management of and adherence to the Quality Assurance standards of the office
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with all staff, clients, and consultants
  • Assist in the training and tutoring of all staff on BIM systems
  • Manage BIM processes, libraries, content, software and components
  • Identify projectrelated BIM issues that arise, and resolve them in line with the rationale of the office
  • Prepare BIM / architectural documentation and details as briefed
  • Ensure development of BIM drawings and the teams' work is complete and delivered within the set and agreed programs and quality

Skills & Experience:


  • Degree qualification in Architecture & BIM qualification/experience
  • Minimum 5 years postgrad experience
  • Excellent understanding of BCA and relevant constructionbased Australian Standards and Building Codes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive experience using BIM software to prepare plans/documentation in Revit
  • Highlevel Revit proficiency
