With over 30,000 employees across more than 85 locations globally, they are looking to expand their senior management team here in Sydney and employ a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager.

The position would suit a versatile and independent HSE expert, someone with the ability to connect, collaborate, and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders.

You must be a strategic thinker, and have strong interpersonal skills, with strong consulting and negotiating skills as you will be the go-to between the Operations - Manufacturing & Production, Commercial & Sales, S&OP, and Design Teams.

Responsibilities:

Implement and drive the company's environmental, health, and safety strategy of 100% safe at occupation
Drive a culture of safety engagement, and hazard awareness from the shop floor up to Board level executives
Manage, maintain and champion EHS Software (Benchmark Gensuite)
Lead and develop a saftey training and engagement plan
Focus on areas of safety performance improvement, effective injury, and workers' compensation management to minimize premiums, and recordable injuries and drive early return to work practices
Report on legal and regulatory compliance gaps
Lead change initiatives, drive and coach High Risk Task
Consulting with internal and external stakeholders and management
Program Management roll out onsite training sessions

You:

Applicants will have 5 years of relevant experience. Depending on the individual, you might be from a consultancy rather than a manufacturing, or production background.

Effective stakeholder management skills and ability to influence, drive, and execute all things Health, safety, and Environmental to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

Salary:

Remuneration up to $180,000 package - $120,000 to $140,000 base + $26,000 car allowance + Super depending on experience (negotiable on experience).
