What will you be doing?

  • Define product roadmaps, priorities and timelines for internal and external projects, owning product architecture, development and delivery of all software and network solutions.
  • Design and deliver solution architecture, with a focus on flexible, configurable and scalable systems.
  • Document and maintain Emersion's existing solutions architecture and technology portfolio, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Define and enforce development and compliance standards including the SDLC and procedures.
  • Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources. Collaborate with stakeholders to provision estimates and develop an overall agile implementation plan for installation, customisation and integration efforts.
  • Confer with endusers and clients to define business requirements for complex systems (including interfaces) and infrastructure development.
  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a related field and demonstrated experience as a Solutions Architect and leading a team.
  • You are experienced in running Agile or SCRUM projects, and prioritising deliverables.
  • You have worked with thirdparty vendor software and integrations and have a solid understanding of modern development frameworks, standards and best practices.
  • You have experience building complex software systems on and with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, Route53, WorkSpaces, PHP 7+ and Java 8+.
  • You are motivated by a fastpaced environment where you will have to constantly adapt with a cando attitude no two days are the same, seriously
