What will you be doing?

In the role of Compliance Officer, you will ensure that Novatti and its clients meet their legal and regulatory requirements.

You will also perform risk assessments, and support customer due diligence on new and existing relationships. There are a few things that we'll need you to be across from the start.

In this role, you will:

Onboard new Novatti clients according to the due diligence process with periodic followup in accordance with applicable legislation, and Novatti's risk and AML framework.
Conduct initial assessments of representatives along with periodic reviews in accordance with the Corporations Act and other guidelines.
Ensure that the Board remains compliant with the applicable laws and regulations.
Conduct regular compliance monitoring reviews, analysis and reporting.
Perform regular reviews of the compliance manual and risk management framework.
Ensure Novatti does not breach any legal or regulatory requirements.
Keep up to date on all relevant legal and regulatory changes relevant to the business.

You have worked previously as a Compliance Officer in the Fintech or payments space.
You have an excellent knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering legislation and regulations.
You have the ability to operate independently and autonomously across a wide range of projects and activities.
You have an agile mindset with an ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment where growth is front and centre.
You have technical knowledge of compliance regulations from a payment or fintech environment.
You have Compliance Monitoring experience ideally in a fintech compliancefocused role.
You are motivated by a fastpaced environment where you will have to constantly adapt with a cando attitude no two days are the same, seriously
