Description


The Concierge will play an important role by responding to all in-person queries and deliveries as well as maintaining established security arrangements and processes.


You will:


  • Act as the first point of contact for building enquiries including deliveries and visitors
  • Ensure office space is kept clean and maintains standards expected across Workplace Health and Safety, and security requirements
  • Ensure sign in process and passes for building access are appropriately administered and returned, maintaining building security and following security processes at all times
  • Report any maintenance or cleaning requirements, as soon as these are brought to attention/escalated
  • Manage signage as required across location and the in/outflow of packages and deliveries
  • Deliver security requirements across all physical and personnel aspects of the location, aligned to the requirements established by the Security Manager
  • Ensure all documentation relating to WHS and Security are maintained and current throughout location
  • Act as key point of contact for in location security incidents, recording and reporting immediately to Security team
  • Provide security administrative support and coordination, administering security clearance processes in line with Security team's established process and AGSVA's requirements, ensuring all policy and legislative requirements are met
  • Maintain open communication with AGSVA and other relevant stakeholders, as and when required
  • Support Adecco DFR Security team with requesting security clearances, reset passwords, request/remove sponsorship of security clearances, arrange temporary access and any other aspects of the security process where support is required
  • Facilitate site induction, as required for staff in location, including visitors and new starters, and predeparture or post travel briefings
  • Provide administration and coordination support, as required for Centre Coordinator, across activities such as WHS and engagement initiatives
  • Prepare documentation for annual audits and registration requirements, as required
  • Develop, manage and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed the expectations of Defence and the DFR Adecco contract, further encouraging a strong and ongoing relationship between Adecco and the Commonwealth of Australia

Profile
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working as a Security Officer.


Your background will demonstrate:


  • A background or understanding of defence/ defence industry is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a customer facing and/or Security Officer role
  • Understanding of AGSVA Security Requirements
  • Previous experience in the creation and maintenance of Government documentation
  • High level of attention to detail
  • High level of organisation and time management skills
