The Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager role plays a pivotal role in optimising and streamlining internal support functions to improve efficiency, foster innovation and enhance service quality.

The role will be responsible for;
Leading Accounts Payable Team Leaders;
Leading Project Specialists;
Ensuring the team is resourced;
Recommending and being involved in process efficiencies and changes;
Managing escalations from internal and external stakeholders; and

Supporting the Financial Controller.

Experience working in a similar role capacity, for a large, multi-site Australian business;
Experience managing a large accounts payable or shared services function and team;
Experience managing teams both onshore and offshore;
Experience managing internal and external stakeholders;
Experience using multiple ERP systems and Excel; and

Experience managing projects and ongoing process and system improvement.

This is a permanent, full time position, based in the Brisbane head office. A generous salary is on offer, as well as a bonus scheme.
