This role is responsible for detailed planning for Fawkner and/or Tullamarine sites.

This role is key to ensuring the Business can meet the demands of the market and growth initiatives of the ANZ Food Care (Shrink segment).

Also, this role will undertake routine planning functions as directed by the Production planner - Team Leader to maintain effective and efficient production planning processes across all areas of the Fawkner and/or Tullamarine manufacturing operations.

This position work across the planning functions, gaining essential practical experience with a view to medium term opportunities in supply chain, planning, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
Participate in all Supply Chain Team safety initiatives.

Ensure all risks are considered when making changes to the supply chain by following the defined Management of Change process.

Maintain AU inventory consistent with forecasts for raw materials, work in process and finished goods inventory.
Entry of data and utilization of production planning system,
Maintain detailed schedules in MIMI for Fawkner and/or Tullamarine work centers
Conversion of orders to production plans
Schedule adherence and delivery performance reporting
Undertake activities as directed by the planning Team Leader The Person
Tertiary Qualifications preferably in a Business-related discipline
Experience in a planning role within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of ERP/ MRP systems an advantage
Analytically minded with attention to detail
Extremely computer literate and ability to easily learn new systems
Comfortable in interacting with mid-level Managers
Intermediate problem-solving capability
Ability to influence across business and at levels at, above or below own role.
Exposure to supply chain processes including planning, inventory, and logistics
Ability to manage conflicting priorities
Ability to reason using numbers and numerical concepts What does the offer include?
