Your Role

The role will liaise with regional operations personnel to be a part of the broader APAC UA Community and will progress workforce management and efficiency to ensure appropriate FTE are in place to

provide the UA tasks.


Your Responsibilities:

In consultation with the P&C Underwriting Operations Manager and Head of P&C ensure:
(i) UA resource in place according to COG guidelines

(ii) UA Development Framework is fit for purpose for UAs to be effectively trained, grow and development

(iii) Appropriate career pathways of UAs to future UWs

(iv) Appropriate tasks are being undertaken by UAs and that E2E process is smooth, with mínimal hand-offs, correct task allocation between operations, UAs and UWs

(v) Review service levels and quality and productivity metrics for E2E processes and monitor and report on these metrics

(vi) Effective retention and minimum tenure for UAs

Undertake continuous improvement of processes, learning and development outcomes, workforce analytics, and maximise efficiencies and undertake change management as applicable

Assist/ lead special projects as required

Build relationships with Business leaders through proactive, open and frequent communication.

Champion excellence in customer experience across the UA group and more broadly for both internal and external customers


Implement procedures and controls to ensure the UA group adheres to relevant legislation and regulations pertaining to employee relations including Workplace Relations Act, State Industrial Relations Acts and Occupational Health and Safety Act.


Qualifications:

Your Skills & Experience

2 years + leading large teams

4 years + in general insurance experience

2 years + in a UA/UW role

2 years' experience in working with offshore teams

Proficient in the use of MSWord to minimum basic level of understanding

Proficient in the use of Excel to minimum intermediate level of understanding

Proficient in the use of the Internet to minimum basic level of understanding

Thorough understanding of general insurance/Financial Services administration business

Demonstrate thorough understanding of functionality of PRISM and other related systems and procedures (preferred)

Proficient in use of Lotus notes to minimum basic level of understanding

Experience in two or more lines of business -preferably within Chubb business (Strongly Desired)
