UON is currently seeking experienced and self-motivated

Assets & Maintenance Planner to join our Logistics team in Perth.


Your main responsibilities will include:


  • Develop and update Asset & Maintenance procedures and systems to ensure high quality management service.
  • Develop, implement, execute, and review asset management plans.
  • Prepare asset management & maintenance reporting for various stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with contractors and service providers.
  • Developing and maintaining Asset Replacement Schedule and write offs
  • Provide scheduling and manage execution of maintenance activities.
  • Attend to unplanned maintenance in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage emergency works in the unlikely event of a major event
  • Provide high level forecasting and reporting to manage resource capacity and compliance to schedules
  • Ensure management of labour, resources and assets are adequate to meet business requirements and prepare proposals for additional resources & assets as required.
  • Identify resource requirements, safety precautions and special work instructions required to execute the work.
  • Liaise with customers, employees, and contractors to coordinate planned operational activities.
  • Monitor and report on operational activities and budgets as necessary and investigate and report on noncompliances.
  • Maintain and distribute high level planning for a rolling 3 monthly forecast.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvements to achieve planned works schedules.
  • Maximising equipment reliability and availability through using planned maintenance most effectively.
  • Responsible for updating and tracking maintenance program.
  • Liaise with associated departments to ensure request for assets can meet required date.
  • Report conflicts to Divisional General Managers, assist in resolving matters.
  • Stock management to eliminate downtime.
  • Compliance with quality records, job paperwork and ownership of quality of modules for all products

Skills & Experience

  • 5 Years Mining / Energy rental experience using asset management software with a minimum 2 years in planning or scheduling disciplines.
  • Trade Qualification (desirable)
  • Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or equivalent preferred.
  • Current Australian 'C' class manual Drivers Licence.
  • Proven financial, risk, commercial, contractual, and human resource management skills.
  • Experience in power generation and or dewatering.
