Job Information:


The position is permanent part-time up to 2 to 3 days per week, 20 hours, and is initially on a fixed-term basis for 6 months, with the potential for extension and to become ongoing.


Four Hills Group is 100% Indigenous owned and collectively led by Traditional Owners from the Goldfields, Pilbara, and Kimberley regions.


Responsibilities:


  • Timely and accurate invoicing, debtor management, and trade credit checks
  • Manage external customer portals
  • Customers engagement and management to ensure timely debtor payments within payment terms
  • Inputting supplier invoices into XERO, reconciling monthly invoices against statements, and preparing payment runs
  • Monitoring and reviewing suppliers to ensure uptodate insurances.
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards, including receipt allocation to correct debtors
  • Cashflow management and forecasting
  • Endofmonth journaling, reconciliation, and reporting, including P&L, Bal Sheet, cashflow, and contract performance
  • Monthly compliance reporting for ATO, OSR, etc.
  • Maintain finance related registers and charge rate database
  • Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for CFO/CEO review
  • Support and communicate with CEO on operational matters and adhoc projects
  • Utilise Xero system for all payroll and accounting matters
  • Comply with all relevant legislation and collaborative work with other finance and operational teams
  • Ad hoc administration duties
  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping
  • Minimum 3 years working in a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience with Xero accounting system
  • Valid Australian drivers licence
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Police Clearance no more than 3 months old
  • Demonstrated administration skills in reporting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and adhere to deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Initiative and creative problemsolving skills
