Their firm has a great family culture, an extensive client and referrer network and has been growing strongly year on year.
They are a single director firm of a 15 plus team, which includes managers, accountants at all levels, bookkeepers, administrative staff, internal accounts, secondment and offshore staff.
About You:
To be considered for this position you will be an experienced Practice Manager in a chartered accounting firm and will have had exposure to operational, financial and people management aspects over your roles.
You will have experience in a process driven well run practice and bring that experience and expertise with you. You will be able to manage time effectively to ensure the smooth running of all facets of the business.

- Demonstrated ability to keep an office organised and wellstructured
Qualifications and experience:
- Minimum HSC or tertiary qualification
- 5+ years' Practice Manager experience in a similar sized or larger chartered accounting firm
- Ability to manage staff in an efficient manner
- Strong communication skills verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise
Some responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and manage practice operations and workflow
- Managing and overseeing the tasks of the administrative team
- High level of support to the director
- Ensuring professional employees meet their CPD accreditation requirements with CAANZ and CPA
- Preparation of monthly retainer and other invoices
- Preparation of accurate and timely productivity and budget reports to the director
- Maintaining the company's Quality Assurance compliance requirements with CAANZ
- Keep abreast of internal administrative policies, practices and guidelines
- Facilitate the preparation of client engagements as instructed by the Director
- Administer client ATO payment arrangements and remission of penalties and interest
Technical abilities:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Word, Excel, Outlook
- Proficient with MYOB AE or similar
