Description
The Role
The Security and Assurance Officers APS6 will work within the Program Management Office (PMO) in the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide (RCDVS) Reform Taskforce.
The Assurance Officer will work to the Director Quality Assurance and liaise with Stream Project Management Offices' stakeholders across the RCDVS Program to ensure complex quality assurance work are achieved, and administration is effective in supporting delivery of initiatives. Provide guidance on management of quality assurance processes and business planning including the review and improvement of business activities.
The Security, Risk and Assurance Officer will work with the Assistant Director to monitor and assist with administration of security clearances. Prepare taskforce security documentation and reports. Assist in delivery of security assessments and security briefings, conduct risk assessments and risk management activities. Collating and analysing assurance data and deliver quarterly assurance reports, briefs and dashboards.
About our Team
The Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide - Taskforce (RCDVS-TF) was established July 2021. The Royal Commission is due to submit its Final Report to Government in September 2024, the RCDVS-TF will shift its focus toward coordinating the implementation of Government agreed recommendations. The positions advertised will be in the Program Management Office (PMO) and will support the implementation of the recommendations and Reform Program.
